Palak Patta Pakora/Spinach Leaf Fritter


  • How to make palak patta pakora:





  • Ingredients:
          1. Besan/Chana Dal Flour (1-2 small bowl)
          2. Oil for frying (4-5 spoons)
          3. Spinach leaves (1 small bunch)
          4. Cumin seeds/Jeera (1 tspn)
          5. Ajwain/Thymol seeds (half tspn)
          6. Salt to taste
          7. Turmeric powder (half tspn)
          8. Water


  • Preparation & Cooking:
          1. Cut the leaves,wash clean & dry them
          2. Take bowl,add the chana dal flour. Add all the spices.
          3. Add water slowly to make a slight paste to coat the leaves with the
              batter.
          4. Heat the oil for frying. Take the leaves & coat them with the batter.
          5. Slowly put them in the heated oil & fry from both the sides on medium
              flame.
          6. Repeat the step & make more pakoras.
          7. The spinach leaf fritter are ready. Serve with sauce or ketchup.


  • Serves: Four-Five.
