Veg Fried Rice


  • How to make veg fried rice:







  • Ingredients:
         1. Rice (2 small bowl)
         2. Oil (1-2 tblspn)
         3. Cauliflower (florets-less than1/4 small bowl)
         4. French beans ( 5-6 no chopped)
         5. Carrot (1 no chopped)
         6. Spring onion leaves ( 1 no chopped)
         7. Onion (1 no small chopped)
         8. Tomato sauce (2-3 tspn)
         9. Soy/Soya sauce (1-2 tspn)
        10. Red chilli powder (1-2 tspn)
        11. Salt to taste
        12. Pepper powder (optional)


  • Preparation & Cooking:
          1. Wash & clean the rice, cook the rice till it is 80% cooked.
          2. Heat oil in a wok/kadhai,add the chopped onion and saute for 2-3 mins.
          3. Chop finely the cauliflower florets only, carrot & spring onion leaves. Cut the french
              beans diagonally in small pieces.
          4. Add the above chopped & cut ingredients,saute for 4-5 mins.
          5. Add red chilli powder,salt & close the lid & cook for 5-6 mins.
          6. Let the rice cool & seperate the rice to cool faster & to have seperate rice grains
              while eating.
           7. Add the rice,saute for 2-3 mins & cook for 5 mins on low flame.
           8. Add the tomato sauce & soy/soya sauce mix well.
           9. Sprinkle little bit of pepper powder- this is optional.
          10. Mix well all the ingredients & cook for 10 mins.
          11. The veg fried rice is ready to eat.
          12. Serve with paneer chilli or manchurian & enjoy a filling snack.
