Wheat Besan Ladoo

  • How to make wheat besan ladoo:






  • Ingredients:
          1. Wheat flour (2 small bowl)
          2. Besan flour (1 small bowl)
          3. Powdered sugar (1to 1-1/2 small bowl)
          4. Elaichi/Cardamom powder
          5. Cashewnuts (Kaju)
          6. Almonds (Badam)
          7. Raisins
          8. Sajuk Tup/Pure Ghee


  • Preparation & Cooking:
          1. Heat sajuk tup/pure ghee about 4 tspn in a pan,add the besan flour.
          2. Cook the besan flour till it is brown in color on low flame. Keep stirring
              continuously.
          3. Remove the besan flour into a broad vessel.
          4. Again add about 4 tspn of sajuk tup/pure ghee,add the wheat flour.
          5. Cook the wheat flour till it is golden brown in color on low flame. Keep
              stirring continuously.
          6. Remove the wheat flour in the broad vessel,add the cardamom/elaichi powder
              powdered sugar and cut pieces of the dry fruits.
          7. Mix them all together and shape by taking portion of the mixture into a ladoo.
          8. Store them in  an air-tight container.


  • Makes: 19-20 ladoos

  • Notes:
         1. If the ladoo mixture turns out little dry, wet your palms with water or grease
             with  ghee. This will help to shape the ladoo well.

Good taste, but dose it hardens if kept for more days?
