Tikhat Poli/Tikhi Roti

  • How to make tikhat poli/tikhi roti:


  • Ingredients:
         1. Wheat flour
         2. Oil
         3. Red chilli powder
         4. Salt to taste

  • Preparation & Cooking:
           1. Knead about 2 small bowl of wheat flour to make dough.
           2. Place tawa/pan on low-medium flame.
           3. Roll about lemon size of  dough ball in circular motion.
           4. Add small or half tspn of red chilli powder & salt over the rolled dough.
               (red chilli powder & salt quantity varies according to your choice/likes)
           5. Spread it evenly, fold it to make a triangle like shape.
           6. Roll in the triangle shape to make triangle shaped roti.
           7. Place the roti on hot tawa, slightly cook from one side and change to other
           8. Cook from one side and apply oil over the roti,roti rises.
           9. Cook properly from both the sides, tikhat poli is ready to eat.
          10. Enjoy the tikhi roti in your snacks.
          11. Repeat the procedure with the remaining dough to make more rotis.

  • Servings: Five - Six
