  • Instant onion tomato uttapam with chana dal flour:







  • Ingredients:
          1. Bengal Gram/Chana Dal Flour (2 small bowl)
          2. Onion (1 no medium chopped)
          3. Tomato (2 no medium chopped)
          4. Turmeric powder
          5. Oil 
          6. Cumin seeds (jeera)
          7. Green chillies (4-5 no chopped)
          8. Salt to taste
          9. Water
         10. Coriander leaves (optional)



  • Preparation & Cooking:
         1. Take the chana dal flour in a broad vessel.
         2. Add the chopped onion,tomato & green chillies,turmeric powder,cumin 
             seeds, salt to taste. Add chopped coriander leaves.
         3. Mix well all the ingredients.
         4. Add water to make batter of consistency to spread (not very thin or watery).
         5. Place the non stick pan on the heat & add a tspn of oil & spread all over.
         6. When the oil is heated, place abt 3-4 tblspn of batter & spread it from centre
                to all the sides. 
         7. Cook from one side, add some oil on the sides, turn it over & cook from both 
              sides.
         8. Cook till it is golden brownish in color.
         9. Serve hot with tomato sauce or chutney & a nice cup of tea.
