Sprouts (Legumes or Pulses)

  • Sprouting (Two Methods)
 

 
  • Ingredients:
          1. Matki (moath beans)
          2. Water
          3. Any legumes or pulses to be sprout (like whole green gram etc)

  • Method 1:
         1. Take one small bowl of matki (or quantity accord to the requirement) in 
             a broad container.
         2. Clean the matki/moath beans and soak in water for 5-6 hrs.
         3. After 6-7 hrs drain the water completely, close with lid and keep overnight
             for sprouting.
 
  • Method 2:
         1.Take one small bowl of matki (or quantity accord to the requirement) in 
             a broad container.
         2.Clean the matki/moath beans and soak in water for 5-6 hrs.
         3. Take the matki/moath beans in a muslin or cheese cloth, let the water drain
             out completely.Tie it tightly and let it sprout overnight.
         4. Tie the cloth at the drain tap or anywhere at a height so that any remaining water
            will drain out.
