La Pasta

  • Rawa/Suji Pasta with Onion,Tomato & Capsicum

        1. 1 tblspn oil
        2. 3-4 chopped garlic
        3. 1 onion (cut in medium size)
        4. 1 tomato ( cut long/lengthwise)
        5. 1 capsicum (cut in medium size)
        6. Rawa/Suji pasta (2 small bowl)
        7. Pepper powder (half to one tblspn)
        8. Red chilli flakes (1/4 tsp)
        9. Salt to taste
       10. Olive oil (optional)
       11. Cumin seeds (jeera-optional)

     Preparation & Cooking:
        1. Heat about 2 & half cup of water in a broad vessel.
        2. Add the pasta in the boiling water & add little oil to avoid pasta from
        3. Cook it for about 3-5 mins and strain the water from pasta and set aside.
        4. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, slightly crush the cumin seeds and add.
        5. Add garlic, after it turns brown add onion,tomato and capsicum.
        6. Saute it for 2-3 mins and add pasta.
        7. Add the red chilli flakes, pepper & salt.
        8. Mix well and saute on a medium flame for 3 mins.
        9. After that, spread little olive oil from the top and saute for 1 min.
       10. The recipe is ready to eat in about 20 mins.

          1. This is a non-cheesy pasta recipe, you can add cheese the way you like.
          2. It can also be eaten by adding some tomato sauce.
